The Metal Melt Quality segment designs and manufactures porous ceramic filters for the filtration of molten metals. It provides patent protected filters for the aluminum cast house industry; and the filtration of gray and ductile iron, as well as filtration of super alloy filters used in the manufacture of turbine blades. The company is also involved in trading activities. It also operates in Continental Europe, the United States, South America, Asia, and Africa, as well as other NAFTA countries.
