The firm also plays an active role in the sale of new and used Porsche vehicles, connecting prospective purchasers with authorized dealers through user-optimized IT system platforms known as Porsche marketplace and Porsche One sale and in many markets administering the Porsche approved pre-owned cars program. The company was founded by Ferdinand Porsche, Adolf Rosenberger and Anton Piëch on April 25, 1931 and is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
