The company also operates shipyards that enable the company to carry out various services, including offshore rig repair, maintenance and refurbishment, fabrication, vessel newbuilding, and afloat repairs, as well as support new businesses in the renewable and marine construction markets; and a fleet of anchor handling tugs, barges, and cranes for sale and rent; and provides other services, such as maintenance, trading, and sale of heavy equipment. In addition, it engages in chartering, freight, servicing, and repair of vessels; trades in drill pipes and related drilling materials; services and rental of marine equipment and cranes; provision of port operation, offshore engineering, and shipbuilding services; and labor supply activities. Further, the company offers repairing and/or docking of ships and various vessels, supply chain and crew management, and heavy-lift equipment; salvaging distressed vessels and cargos; freight forwarding, packing, and crating services; general agent services for electronic cargo tracking note; cranes and industrial equipment lease, sale, repair and maintenance, and after sale services; marine support services; and marine transportation and logistics related services. The company was formerly known as Kim Heng Offshore & Marine Holdings Limited and changed its name to Kim Heng Limited in May 2021. Kim Heng Limited was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Singapore.
