In addition, it operates leisure facilities, such as hot spring, aquariums, yacht harbors, boat racing, and golf courses; provide advertising agency and travel services; and processes and sells marine products and prepared foods. Further, the company is involved in the operation and management of department stores, shopping centers, and convenience and drug stores; leasing of office buildings and research facilities; contracting of civil engineering and construction, electrical, telecommunications, and pipe work; manufacturing, remodeling, painting, cleaning, and repair of transportation equipment, such as trains and automobiles; management of condominium; and provision of building maintenance, cleaning, security business. Additionally, it engages in the living life support, fresh flower, nursery school management, and life and non-life insurance agency businesses; and provision of computer software design, development, sales, and maintenance services, as well as provides station cleaning, bicycle parking lot management, business card creation, futon drying, home delivery reception and witness, data entry, group passenger reception, accounting, personnel, and temporary staffing services. The company was formerly known as Keihin Electric Express Railway Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Keikyu Corporation in October 2010. Keikyu Corporation was founded in 1898 and is headquartered in Yokohama, Japan.
