The company is also involved in the wholesale and retail of merchandise; provision of dry cleaning, and marketing services; lending and borrowing of funds; and operates golf club and resort, and property investment activities. In addition, it offers tourism, leisure, and other services; and operates Peninsula Boutiques. The company was formerly known as The Hongkong Hotel Company, Limited.
