The Fintech & Research segment operates a Fintech platform for approximately 8,000 users, across 3,300 firms, and provides independent ratings of 21,000 financial products and funds, as well as licensed by 250 brands. It also offers market insights and analysis, product design and compliance, and targeted distribution services to product providers; product research and comparison, financial planning and advice technology, and centralized data and workflow services to intermediaries; and product education, comparison, and rating services to consumers. The company was formerly known as The SimplyBiz Group plc and changed its name to Fintel Plc in March 2021. Fintel Plc was founded in 2002 and is based in Huddersfield, the United Kingdom.
