In addition, it provides Combogesic for moderate acute pain and reduction of fever in adults; Protect-It, a non-chemical food-safe grain insecticide product used as a preventative treatment against insect infestations in stored grains; and Tibella, a hormone replacement therapy to treat vasomotor symptoms due to estrogen deficiency. The company sells its products through wholesalers and retail pharmacy chains. The company was formerly known as Hedley Technologies Inc. and changed its name to BioSyent Inc. in June 2006 to reflect its forward focus on the pharmaceutical market.
